Welcome to my food blog, where I share my journey as a picky Thai guy who found himself in the land of burgers and fries. My name is Kwang which means deer in Thai, and I am a computer engineering student who moved from Thailand to Utah to pursue my studies. However, my love for food and my picky taste buds were not ready for the transition, and my absolute favorite dish is green curry with Kanom Jeen, which is a type of rice noodle.

In my first year, I struggled to find food that I liked, and I missed the flavors of home. I quickly realized that the Thai food in Utah was not up to my standards, and I had to take matters into my own hands. Despite not knowing how to cook in Thailand, I taught myself how to cook simple Thai dishes that satisfied my cravings.

My Mission

Through this blog, I aim to share my favorite recipes and cooking tips, so that anyone can enjoy the delicious flavors of Thai cuisine no matter where they are in the world. My journey proves that if I can cook, anyone can cook – including those who may not have grown up in a culinary culture like Thailand.
